Jan's Kids Fund

In the fall of 1992,I was reminiscing about Christmas and how magical it was to me. I remember thinking, what a crazy world we live in and the thought of kids in Valley Falls not having the same feeling of excitement saddened me. These thoughts spurred me to start my Christmas kids project.

I can’t keep these kids fed,warm or make them feel safe all year,but I can help them for one day,feel special,loved and know they matter in this world and hopefully bring them the joy and hope that Christmas brings to me.

Historically, I have used excess funds to purchase pool passes,lesson fees,sports camp fees, sports footwear,yearbooks,etc. Basically,any need a kid 18 & under in Valley Falls school district may need.
